Our Privacy Commitment

QR Bro is built on a privacy-first foundation. We believe that using a QR code generator should not require you to hand over your personal data. This policy explains exactly what data we collect (spoiler: almost none), how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Do NOT Collect

When you use QR Bro, the following data is never collected, stored, or transmitted:

• Phone numbers you enter for WhatsApp QR codes
• Contact information entered for vCard QR codes (name, email, company, etc.)
• URLs you encode into QR codes
• QR code content scanned using the camera or image upload feature
• Camera feed or images used for scanning

Client-Side Processing

All QR code generation and scanning operations run entirely within your browser using JavaScript. No data from the QR generation forms or the scanner is transmitted over the network. Your device generates the QR code image locally and it stays on your device until you download it.

Standard Server Logs

Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic access logs (IP addresses, browser type, timestamps). These are used solely for security monitoring and are retained for a maximum of 30 days. They are NOT used for marketing.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Fonts (typography) and Cloudflare/Unpkg CDNs (JavaScript libraries). These services may log request metadata per their own privacy policies. We minimize these dependencies to protect you.
